A quick, creamy, and flavorful garlic mushroom pasta that’s perfect for a cozy dinner. It’s rich, comforting, and can be made in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 150 g Pasta

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 200 g mushrooms, sliced (button or cremini)

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs (optional)

  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Recipe:

  • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving ¼ cup of the pasta water.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add sliced mushrooms and cook for 5–6 minutes until browned and tender. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs.
  • Reduce the heat to low, pour in the heavy cream, and stir. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss to combine and coat the pasta in the sauce. If needed, add reserved pasta water a tablespoon at a time to loosen the sauce.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and more Parmesan if desired. Serve hot.
