A quick, creamy, and flavorful garlic mushroom pasta that’s perfect for a cozy dinner. It’s rich, comforting, and can be made in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
150gPasta
1tbspolive oil
1tbspbutter
3cloves garlic, minced
200gmushrooms, sliced (button or cremini)
1/2cupheavy cream
1/4cupgrated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
1tspdried Italian herbs (optional)
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Recipe:
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving ¼ cup of the pasta water.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add sliced mushrooms and cook for 5–6 minutes until browned and tender. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs.
Reduce the heat to low, pour in the heavy cream, and stir. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss to combine and coat the pasta in the sauce. If needed, add reserved pasta water a tablespoon at a time to loosen the sauce.
Garnish with fresh parsley and more Parmesan if desired. Serve hot.
